Distillery Gebroeders Kramers dates back to 1776; distilling is in our blood, so to speak. In BLACK NAZARETH® a lot of history and love is reflected. For example, the pattern on our pitchers is inspired by a palster, which was used in distilleries at the time to clean the ground vessels and copper kettles inside. One lowered a burner servant on a rope and then the cleaning work could begin.

Always in pairs because the remaining alcohol vapor from the malt wine could get you intoxicated while working. Stove in the barrel so to speak. Jan and Marijke Kramers-Melchers had such a palster hanging in the kitchen, one of many references to the rich past of Distillery Gebroeders Kramers with which Peter and Jeroen grew up. And this very palster is now a facial element in the contemporary design of our pitchers. BLACK NAZARETH® is distilled with a story.
